My work in counseling is grounded in psychoanalytic principles, guided by the belief that meaningful change comes through deep understanding and relationship. In therapy, I invite reflection on the patterns, emotions, and early experiences that continue to shape how we, including many Asian American clients, relate to ourselves and others. Together, we make space for the parts of you that have had to adapt, hide, or strive in order to belong.
I approach each person with cultural attunement and curiosity, recognizing that identity and heritage influence the ways we learn to survive, connect, and express care. For many of the individuals I work with—especially those navigating multiple cultural worlds—psychotherapy becomes a place to unlearn self-blame and reconnect with authenticity beneath the layers of perfectionism or emotional guarding.
At its core, my philosophy is about healing through connection. When we slow down enough to listen to what has been silenced, a deeper sense of self begins to emerge—one that feels more whole, more alive, and more at peace. If you're interested in exploring this journey together, please contact us.
